Bilirubin Auto Total FS is a photometric test to determine total bilirubin in human serum and heparin plasma. Several pathological conditions such as jaundice, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, hemolytic disorders, HELLP syndrome, and different inherited enzyme deficiencies display elevated total bilirubin concentrations. Furthermore, approximately 60% of full term und 85% of pre-term newborns exhibit clinically relevant jaundice.
