Cholinesterase FS is a kinetic photometric test to determine cholinesterase (ChE) activity in human serum and plasma. ChE activity is significantly increased in the context of impaired liver function, the nephrotic syndrome and intestinal diseases with loss of protein. Strongly decreased ChE activity may indicate pesticide poisoning and acute intoxication.
