Total Protein UC FS is a photometric test to determine total protein in urine and cerebrospinal fluid. Increased total protein values in urine are termed proteinuria and can be detected in the majority of kidney diseases. Elevated urine protein levels may as well be related to other acute disorders like fever, as well as to physical or psychological stress.
