TECHNOVIEW Dabigatran* Calibrator Set is a set of 4 calibrator plasmas for assaying Dabigatran that are titrated and optimised using the TECHNOCLOT^® DTI assay. Measuring the Dabigatran concentration in patient’s plasma allows the anticoagulant therapy to be monitored and the dosage adjusted.

TECHNOVIEW Dabigatran Calibration Set is prepared from citrated plasmas containing with known concentrations of Dabigatran in the range from ~ 50 ng/ml to ~ 500 ng/ml.

TECHNOVIEW Dabigatran Calibrator and Control plasmas are calibrated against an internal Reference Standard

The plasma contains stabilizers, but no preservatives. The assay range is 40 – 500 ng/ml and covers the usual concentrations currently observed during Dabigatran therapy. The Limit of Detection (LoD) of Dabigatran using TECHNOCLOT® DTI assay is 50 ng/mL. If the calibrator set is used with other assays, results can vary according to the assay reactivity and its standardization.
