TECHNOCLOT® PT Owren Capillary Control Set is used for accuracy and precision control of capillary blood INR tests using the TECHNOCLOT® PT Owren manual reagent.

TECHNOCLOT® PT Owren Capillary Control Set consists of a normal and an anticoagulated lyophilised plasma used to determine the accuracy and precision of INR tests. The normal plasma is prepared from selected citrated plasma from healthy donors so the clotting activity is normally distributed. The abnormal plasma is prepared from the plasma of donors stabilised on long term warfarin therapy with the same levels of coagulation Factors II, VII and X plus PIVKA proteins present in the patient's plasma.
