The Sentosa SX Virus Total Nucleic Acid Kit is used for magnetic beads-based nucleic acid extraction from virus in biological specimens on the Sentosa SX101 instrument. The kit is intended for in vitro diagnostic use.
Product Description
The Sentosa SX Virus Total Nucleic Acid Kit provides reagents for the automated extraction of nucleic acid on the Sentosa SX101 instrument. The kit can be used to extract nucleic acid from a broad range of viruses.
The kit allows nucleic acid extraction from 8 to 48 samples per run. After extraction on the Sentosa SX101 instrument, nucleic acid can be detected using PCR / RT-PCR on the Rotor-Gene ® Q MDx 5plex HRM instrument, with Sentosa SA PCR / RT-PCR Test.
Has been evaluated for the following biological specimens:
- Serum
- Plasma
- Swab in universal transport medium (UTM)
- Stool
- Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)
- Urine
